4.7  CPU Configuration 

The CPU Configuration screen provides access to processor specific power and 
performance options. Newer processor features sets such as Hyper Threading, 
Virtualization and EIST can be enabled to assist modern operating systems or 
disabled for legacy and compatibility reasons. 

Select the 

CPU Configuration 

option from the Advanced screen to jump to the CPU 

Configuration screen.

4.7.1  

 

New Max Non-Turbo Ratio 

 

The optimal default is 

255

. 

This value actual modifies the multiplier for the Non‐Turbo frequency. The formula 

works as 

New Max Non‐Turbo Ratio x 133 MHz = standard processor frequency 20 x 133 

MHz = 2.66 GHz 

In fact the multiplier will be dynamically adjusted from a low point of 12x (a 1.6 

GHz) up to this maximum non‐turbo ratio as the processor load demands.

 

  NOTE 

It is not possible to set the Non-Turbo frequency any higher than the base frequency of the processor, even 

so this field allows value up to 255.
