The optimal default is

Auto

The user can individually select the serial port address (IO) and interrupt (IRQ) or
select

to let the UEFI firmware decide the best setting. If more than one

interrupt is listed the UEFI firmware automatically selects one from the list.

COM1 and COM2 drivers support different electrical serial interface standards. The
user can select which one matches with his environment.
