Tab. 165 Recording procedures
Note
A user can only carry out the procedures if he has been allocated an
authorization profile with the right
Audio services
. Also the terminal PIN
must not be set to the initialization value "0000".
(Exception: The procedure for checking the recording is not affected by
this restriction).
Record with handset:
After the procedure a long Start tone is audible and can be recorded over the hand-
set.
Recording with audio equipment:
After the procedure a long Start tone is audible and can be played back over the
audio equipment connected to the music input of the PBX. The recording can be
monitored via the handset.
The following applies to both recording possibilities:
•
To end the recording, hang up; on system terminals press the
Stop
Foxkey. The
recording is then stored automatically.
•
The recording time is limited by the size of the reserved memory defined for
Mu-
sic on hold
in the PBX file system in AIMS. Once this time has expired, the record-
ing stops automatically and the audio data is stored.
Replacing the wave file:
The internal PBX melody can also be loaded into the file system as a WAV file. The
procedure is the same as for the Courtesy announcements (see
(announcement prior to answering)", page 450
).
