Detailed Description
Tab. 295 Courtesy Service
Calls to all network interfaces of a trunk group can be routed to the Courtesy Serv-
ice. The configuration is made individually for each trunk group and DDI number, in
the call distribution elements.
Note:
To send the recorded announcement, a through-connection is made on
the exchange side, which means that, from this moment onwards, the
caller incurs call charges.
Courtesy groups
The 2025/2045 and A150/300 systems have one Courtesy group; the 2065 system,
two Courtesy groups.
A Courtesy group can send out different announcement sequences depending on
the switch position 1, 2 and 3 of a switch group. The position of the switch group
assigned to the call distribution element via which the call is to be routed is always
crucial.
If in the Courtesy settings (CM_1_2_5_7) the
Sequence switch position x
parameter
field is blank, no announcement text is played in this switch position. The se-
quences for the various switch positions can be the same or different.
For each Courtesy group the
Courtesy delay
parameter can be configured within a
value range of 0 to 300 seconds. This means that the delay can be defined until the
unanswered call is answered by the Courtesy service.
