The inputs on the Input Status menu perform the BOS operations below.

Before you can
change the
status of the
Move RCM Up/
Down
input, the
RCM Present
input must be
ON, the RCM
Power Relay
output must be ON, and an RCM must be
connected to the BOS
.
The Move RCM Up/Down inputs work like the
Part piston jog switch . Changing their status to
ON is like moving the jog switch to its RAISE or
LOWER position. Changing their status to OFF is
like moving the jog switch to its STOP (middle)
position.
When the part piston reaches its upper or lower
limit, the
Move RCM Up/Down input status
changes to OFF automatically to prolong the life
of the piston motor.
BOS INPUT STATUS OPERATION
Move RCM Up
ON
Raises part piston while RCM Present input is ON , the RCM Power Relay
output is ON , and RCM is connected to BOS
OFF Stops part piston from moving up
Move RCM Down
ON
Lowers part piston while RCM Present input is ON , the RCM Power Relay
output is ON , and RCM is connected to BOS
OFF Stops part piston from moving down
RCM Present
ON
Enables part piston up or down motion while the RCM Power Relay output
is ON and an RCM is connected to BOS
OFF
Disables part piston up or down motion while the RCM Power Relay output
is ON and an RCM is connected to BOS
