LAN Emulation
Redundancy
The following commands allow you to configure the LAN emulation
redundancy facility.
■
Assign Redundant LES to ELAN
■
De-Assign Redundant LES from ELAN
■
Make Primary LES Active
Assign Redundant
LES to ELAN
Assigns a LES to be the redundant (secondary) LES of a specified ELAN in
the LECS database. Specify the ELAN name and the ATM address of the
LES. The secondary LES should be resident on a different switch than the
primary LES. For more information, see “LES Redundancy Facility -
Configuring the ELAN Topology Database” on page 155 in the
Operations Guide.
An ELAN cannot have more than 2 LESs.
