Chapter 3 File System Configuration
Parameter Description
<
local-file-name
>
Name of the file in the local Flash memory. The parameter can be
in any of the following formats:
1. If the parameter includes the absolute path, such as
/cfg/startrun.dat
(device format), the full path name of
the file is
/cfg/startrun.dat
.
2. If the parameter includes the relative path, such as
cfg/startrun.dat
, the full path name of the file is
/cfg/startrun.dat
(assuming the current path of the local
Flash memory is "/").
3. If the parameter does not include any path, such
as
startrun.dat
, the full path name of the file is
/cfg/startrun.dat
(assuming the current path of the local
Flash memory is
/cfg/
).
upload
Uploads a local file to the server.
< remote-file-name >
Name of the file on the server. The parameter can be in any of the
following formats:
1. If the parameter includes a path, such as
\cfg\startru
n.dat
(windows format), the full path name of the file is
D:\svn_5250\prj\cfg\startrun.dat
(assuming the
path of the FTP server is
D:\svn_5250\prj\
).
2. If the parameter does not include any path, such
as
startrun.dat
, the full path name of the file is
D:\svn_5250\prj\startrun.dat
(assuming the path of
the FTP server is
D:\svn_5250\prj\
).
download
Downloads a file from the server to the local Flash memory.
< string > User name used to log in to the FTP server.
< string > Password used to log in to the FTP server.
Guidelines
The FTP command requires the configuration ofthe layer-3 interface of the switch. For
layer-3 interface configuration, refer to the IPv4 Layer-3 Configuration and IPv6 Layer-3
Configuration sections in this manual.
