Parameter Description
Parameter
Description
<
1-52
>
Port number. Different devices have different port number ranges.
In the syntax, the 5250-52TC device is used as an example.
default
Default mode, in which the option82 attribute in a packet is kept
unchanged.
drop
Drop mode, in which the packet carrying the option82 attribute is
discarded.
modify
Modify mode, in which the option82 attribute in the packet is
replaced by the local option82 attribute.
append
Append mode, in which the local option82 attribute is appended
to the packet.
Guidelines
After the port receives a DHCP packet carrying the option82 attribute, the port directly
forwards the packet to the server if the mode is "default", or discards the packet if the
mode is "drop", or replace the option82 attribute with the local option82 attribute and then
forwards the packet to the server if the mode is "modify", or append the local option82
attribute to the packet and then forwards the packet to the server if the mode is "append".
