3. On the Viewfinder screen, touch the flash mode button to select a camera flash mode
depending on your lighting conditions:
Auto flash
Flash on
Flash off
Warning:
Keep a safe distance when using the flash. Do not point the flash toward people
or animals‟ eyes.
4. Frame your subject on the screen.
Tip:
Hold the device vertically when taking portrait shots or hold the device horizontally when
taking landscape shots. Then you will not need to rotate the photo after capturing it.
5. Touch
or press the
Camera
key to take the photo.
6. Go to the review screen to c
hoose what you want to do with the photo you‟ve just taken.

Note:
A microSD card is required in order to use the camera function on your device. Your
device automatically saves the captured photos to the
DCIM

Camera
folder on the
microSD card.
Record Videos
You can record video clips
using your device‟s video camera.
1. Press
and touch

Camcorder
.
2. Select
Video Mail
or
Long Video
as the recording mode. You can change the mode
later.
3. On the viewfinder screen, you can do the following:
Touch
to change the camcorder settings. For more information, see

Camcorder Settings
.
Touch
to select the white balance mode, which includes
Auto
,
Incandescent
,
Daylight
,
Fluorescent
, and
Cloudy
.
Touch
to change the recording mode based on the purpose of the video.
4. Frame your subject on the screen.
5. Touch
or press the
Camera
key to start capturing video.
