After clicking “OK, the dialog box will close and
within a few seconds in the log section in the lower
portion of the viewer will display a notification
advising that the VID was successfully updated with
value entered.
There are a total of 25 VID’s that can be configured to trigger
the Digital Ally DVM-250/250+ cameras. Which VID’s are
configured to do so is at the discretion of the agency.
However,
for each of the VID’s that are to be setup as
triggers, the process described above must be
completed for each

VID’s that used to send the 12VDC pulse using Road Safety’s
Digital OUTPUT 2.

Once VID’s are set using the steps above, they MUST be saved to the RS-4000 prior to exiting the
Diagnostics viewer. To save, simply press the fourth button from the left on the button bar.
Not saving prior to exiting will require the re-entry of all values.
