SECTION 4B - USER PROGRAMMING
Priority (P)
Whenever the Model 16 receives a request to page, it places that page
into a batch with many other pages. These batches are transmitted
periodically, but the period between batches can be as long as 40
minutes depending on the programmed batch period (see Section 4A,
Paging Options). Because it is necessary to page some Users as soon as
possible, the Priority attribute forces these pages to be transmitted
immediately.
Select Yes for Priority paging, No for standard batching.

* Setting users for priority paging reduces batching efficiency
* considerably. The more users with priority paging, the fewer
* pages the Model 16 can batch together.
* When a priority page is placed into a batch, the batch is
* flagged for transmission and no more pages are put into it,
* even if the batch contains only a single priority page.

Require Message (R)
This attribute is for those Users who carry display pagers but don't
like to be bothered with Tone Only pages. These Users carry display
pagers because the display information saves them from the extra step
of calling to find out what the message is. When the Required Message
attribute is set, a paging error will be returned to the caller unless
a message is included.
Select Yes to Require Messages to a User; selecting No will allow the
User to receive Tone Only messages.
Do not select Yes to Require Messages if Tone Only is also set to Yes.
Tone Only (0)
This attribute restricts Users to receive Tone Only pages - no
messages will be sent. This can identify pagers with no display
capacity. No message will be prompted for when paging a User
designated as Tone Only.
Select Yes to identify a User as Tone Only, select No otherwise
(messages are allowed).
Do not select Yes to set Tone Only if Required Messages is also set to
Yes.
