MATRx plus Tablet Set-up
Warning
Do not install any 3rd party applications or software on the Tablet. Only Zephyr supplied software should be installed.
UPDATING THE MATRx PLUS TABLET SOFTWARE
The Tablet’s MATRx plus software can be updated, if required. Please contact Zephyr Technical Support for
assistance. The software update can only be accessed from the Admin Menu, therefore this procedure cannot be
performed by the patient.
Charge the Tablet prior to use. Plug one end of the Tablet’s power adaptor into an
electrical outlet; plug the other end into the connection port located on the top of
the Tablet.
Once powered ON, the Tablet should automatically launch the MATRx plus
software. If it does not, select the Sleep Study icon (i.e. heart symbol) on the Login
screen to launch the software.
The Tablet can be configured to connect to the office Wi-Fi if there is poor network
coverage (see
Appendix 2: Using Wi-Fi on the Tablet
).
MATRx plus Cleaning and Disinfection
Warning
The Nasal Cannula, Titration Trays, Titration Tray Storage Bag and Tray Attachment Pins should be discarded after single
patient use.
Caution
Do not soak or immerse the device or accessories in any liquid. The Mandibular Positioner and Tablet Cover can be rinsed
under water as instructed.
Do not autoclave, pressure sterilize, or gas sterilize any components of the system or sensors.
Prior to cleaning, inspect the sensor cables. Discard and replace damaged sensor cables.
Note
Clean and disinfect the device according to the manufacturer’s recommended procedure.
