Electromagnetic compatibility
The device is subject to special precautions regarding electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC).
●
To prevent EMC interference, the device may only be installed,
commissioned and maintained in the manner specified in this
manual and only with the components supplied by Carl Zeiss Vision.
●
The essential performance of the equipment and a description of
what the operator can expect if the essential performance is lost or
degraded due to EM disturbances.
●
All necessary instructions for maintaining basic safety and essential
performance with regard to electromagnetic disturbances for the
expected service life.
●
Replacement cables may only be obtained from Carl Zeiss
Vision.
●
Use of accessories, transducers of all types and cables not specified
in this manual or sold by Carl Zeiss Vision as replacement parts may
cause increased emissions or reduced immunity of the device.
CAUTION – OBSERVE WHEN USING OTHER DEVICES
With the exception of the device combinations described in this manual, the
unit must not be stacked next to or with other equipment.

If operation is required in the vicinity of other equipment, the
equipment must be checked to verify its intended use in the
arrangement in use.
CAUTION – KEEP AWAY FROM RADIO EQUIPMENT
Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect the device.
●
When operating a radio or wireless component, observe the
distance to all system components as recommended in this chapter.
