Positioning the customer for the measurement
●
Remove the used paper covering on the chin rest after each
customer.
●
Ask the customer to place their chin on the motorized chin rest and
their forehead against the forehead rest.
●
Ensure the customer's chin touches the front edge of the chin rest.
●
At least half of the customer's pupils must be visible. If this is not the case,
use the height adjustment button on the chin rest to bring the customer's
pupils into the imaging window.
●
Ask the customer to look through the opening on the device at the test
mark - an image of a long street with a hot air balloon in the distance.
The customer should look at the stripes on the balloon to switch off the
accommodation.
●
If the customer does not see the balloon at first, ask the customer to
continue looking until the balloon appears.
●
Shortly before starting the measurement process, ask the customer not
to move during the measurement and to keep their eyes wide open.
●
Start the measurement in the
Measurement
window by pressing
the
Measure
button. The automatic measurement process will
begin.
To minimize measurement errors due to changes in the tear film
when the eyes are held open for too long, ask the customer to
blink several times directly before starting the measurement.
●
Ask the customer to blink once again after completing the centering
process, but still during the focusing process. The display over the
imaging window shows:
Centering √ Focusing
…
.
●
Before the wavefront measurement, ask the customer to continue
looking at the balloon, even when the red laser light appears.
