Focusing phase
The instrument
head does not
focus
automatically
(error message
appears).
The customer’s
forehead is not in
contact with the
forehead rest.
Ensure the customer is resting
their forehead against the
forehead rest.
The customer has
had a lens implant
or wears contact
lenses.
Use manual focusing. If the
problem continues, contact your
local Service Support and
authorized service partners.
Measurement phase
The device carries
out measurements
very slowly.
The customer has
a cataract.
Increase the sensor sensitivity
in small increments.
The device does
not complete
measurements at
all.
The customer has
a cataract.
Increase the sensor sensitivity
in small increments.
Electrical problem
Switch off the device and
switch it on again after one
minute. If the problem
continues, contact your
local Service Support and
authorized service partners.
Measurement
results are
incorrect.
The illumination
level in the
measuring head
area is too high.
Ensure no external light
sources are influencing the
measurement results.
The sensor
creates “ghosts”
or double
images.
The device is not
calibrated.
