The connecting tracks are connected to the booster via the enclosed plug-in terminal. Use cable cross
sections of at least 1.5 mm² for the feed. In case of longer track sections, please feed in at several points.
If the current consumption exceeds 5 A permanently, the section is overloaded and must be divided (an
additional booster is needed). This leaves a small reserve to be able to safely switch turnouts or the like.

Make sure that the feeder tracks do not contain capacitors (often needed for analogue
operation).

Attention:
When using older, non-RailCom-capable units at the same time, in the case of com
-
mon disconnect points it must be observed: if the RailCom cutout is generated in one section
but not in the neighboring section, micro short-circuits would occur when crossing the common
disconnection point. Therefore, the RailCom of the
Z21 XL BOOSTER
must be deactivated for
such setups (see chapter "STOP Button and Configuration").
