Checking Products
This chapter describes how to check products upon delivery.
3.1 Unpacking
Upon receiving the feedback module, check to see if any shipping damages can be
found!
If so:
n
Immediately file a complaint to the supplier. Confirm the complaint in writing and
immediately contact the representative of YASKAWA Europe GmbH who is assigned
to assist you.
CAUTION!
Danger due to electrostatic discharge!
The electronic components of the feedback module can be damaged or
totally destroyed if exposed to electrostatic discharges by being touched
by hand.
Therefore, follow the rules and instructions for handling electrostatically
sensitive components when handling the feedback module.
If no damage from shipping can be found:

Open the packaging of the device.
n
Check the items included in the delivery against the bill of delivery.
The packaging consists of cardboard and plastic. Follow local regulations on disposal if
you dispose of the packaging.
3.2 Checking Products on Delivery

Check the nameplate to confirm that the product is the one that was ordered.

Mount the Feedback Option Module to the SERVOPACK as described in the
enclosed
