Device button
When you clicked “Device” button “2”, can
choose IrDA or CAN as a communication meth-
od with MCU.
Read mode button
When you clicked “Read Mode” button “1”, PC
genius start to communicate to the MCU.
When communication is successful, the top
speed and regenerative brake settings dis-
played on the screen with the solid cursor in blue
“2”.
Set mode button
1. The user selects the intended mode number.
The number will flash green for the intended
setting “1”.
2. When you clicked “Set Mode” button “2”, PC
genius start to communicate to the MCU.
3. When communication is successful, the
speed/regen setting for the MCU will be dis-
played with solid cursor in blue “1”.
TIP
If communication was unsuccessful you will see
a communication error screen. Steps 1–3 must
be repeated. Select “OK” to return to data
screen. If a communication error is persistent,
cycle the tow/run switch. If communication error
continues disconnect and reconnect USB from
PC.
About application button
The about application screen will show the end
user license agreement, software version and
copyright information.
Logout button
It will return to the login screen.
