b. Insert screwdriver into locking hole “1”.
c. Loosen both locknuts “2”.
d. Turn the adjusting nuts “3” until the correct
adjustment is obtained.
e. Tighten the locknuts “2”.
f. Remove screwdriver.
CHECKING THE BATTERY ELECTROLYTE
(YUM2E)
The following procedure applies to all of the bat-
teries.
1. Check:
• Battery fluid level
Remove the cap and check if the fluid level
reaches the top of the plate.
Below the upper edge
→
Add distilled water
until the top of the plate is just hidden beneath
the water.
WARNING
Battery electrolyte is poisonous and danger-
ous, causing severe burns, etc. It contains
sulfuric acid. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
or clothing.
Antidote:
External: Flush with water.
Internal: Drink large quantities of water or
milk. Follow with milk of magnesia, beaten
egg, or vegetable oil. Call physician immedi-
ately.
Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes and
get prompt medical attention.
Batteries produce explosive gases. Keep
sparks, flame, cigarettes, etc., away. Venti-
late when charging or using in enclosed
space. Always shield eyes when working
near batteries.
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

CHECKING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL
AND BRAKE PEDAL OPERATION
1. Check:
• Acceleration pedal “1” operation
• Brake pedal “2” operation
Improper operation
→
Adjust the cables.
Unsmooth operation
→
Lubricate.
