DISASSEMBLING THE SECONDARY
SHEAVE
1. Attach:
• Bolt “1”
(to the secondary sheave “2”)
2. Attach:
• Tool “1”
• Nut “2”
TIP
Set the tool “1” one step lower than the spring
seat “3” so that the bolt tip “a” of the tool “1” con-
tacts it and install the nut “2”.
3. Remove:
• Circlip “1”
TIP
• Remove by tightening the nut until the drive
shaft clip groove is visible.
• Put a mark “a” before disassembling the sec-
ondary sheave to make assembly work later
easier.
4. Remove:
• Nut
• Tool “1”
• Bolt
NOTICE
When detaching the nut from the bolt, hold
the tool securely so that the tool “1” and sec-
ondary spring seat do not fly out due to the
reactive force of the secondary sheave
spring.
CHECKING THE PRIMARY SHEAVE
1. Check:
• Primary sliding sheave
• Primary fixed sheave
• Spider
Cracks/damage
→
Replace.
CHECKING THE SECONDARY SHEAVE
1. Check:
• Secondary sliding sheave
• Secondary fixed sheave
Cracks/damage
→
Replace.
