2 Battery Check the battery.
Refer to “CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY” on
page 8-63.
Charge or replace the battery. Connect the PC Genius
diagnostic tool, and check if any
errors are continuously
occurring.
OK

Go to step 3.
3 Fuse Check the main and MCU fuse.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
FUSES” on page 8-63.
Replace if defective. Connect the PC Genius
diagnostic tool, and check if any
errors are continuously
occurring.
OK

Go to step 4.
4 TOW switch Check the TOW switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-61.
Replace if defective. Connect the PC Genius
diagnostic tool, and check if any
errors are continuously
occurring.
OK

Go to step 5.
5 Wire harness continuity Open or short circuit
→
Properly
connect or replace the wire
harness.
Between the battery terminal
and the main fuse terminal.
Red–Red
Between the TOW switch
coupler and the main fuse
terminal.
Red–Red
Between the MCU fuse terminal
and the MCU coupler.
Red/yellow–Red/yellow
Between the battery terminal
and the MCU coupler.
Black–Black
Connect the PC Genius
diagnostic tool, and check if any
errors are continuously
occurring.
OK
→
Go to step 6.
6 Operation check Set the TOW switch to RUN, the
main switch to ON, depress the
accelerator pedal, and check if
the vehicle runs. OK
→
Maintenance job
completion.
