Sync Pi tch Src
(Sy nc Pitch Source)
The Sync Pitch So urce setting determines the so urce
which applies the mo dulatio n o ver time to the slave
o scillato r.
Settings:
fixed, PEG , FEG , LFO 1 , LFO 2
When set to “ fixed” , there is no change in modulation over time.
Sync Pm od Sw
(Sy nc Pitch
M odula tion Sw itch)
The Sync Pitch Mo dulatio n Switch setting determines
which o scillato r (master, slave, o r bo th) is mo dulated
by the LFO 1 . Depth rate is determined by the VC0 1
Pmo d Depth setting (see pag e 6 3 ).
Settings:
mastr, slave, bo th
Pitch Modulation cannot be controlled by LFO2 .
FM De pth
The FM Depth setting determines the amo unt o f
mo dulatio n created by FM So urce 1 (see next
parameter). Turning the kno b to the rig ht increases the
Depth.
Settings:
-6 4 ~ 0 ~ +6 3
This is a different type of parameter than that used in the Yamaha DX-series FM
synthesizers. Too deep of a setting will change the pitch of the voice. Adjust the
pitch using the VCO1 Pitch and Fine parameters ( see pages 6 1 , 6 2 ) .
FM Src1
(FM Source 1 )
The FM So urce 1 setting determines the mo dulatio n
so urce which co ntro ls the FM Depth (see previo us
parameter).
Settings:
fixed, PEG , FEG , LFO 1 , LFO 2
When set to “ fixed” , there is no change in modulation over time.
FM Src2
(FM Source 2 )
The FM So urce 2 setting determines the so urce wave
which mo dulates the VCO 1 wave.
Settings:
VCO 2 , VCO 1 , VCO 1 s (sub o scillato r), PEG , FEG ,
LFO 1 , LFO 2
