Turning ARPEGGIO/ SEQ
On And Off

The [ARPEGGIO / SEQ ] sw itch is used to turn the
Arpeggia tor or Step Sequencer on a nd off. Either
“ ARP”  or “ SEQ ”  w ill a ppea r in the LCD to
indica te w hich one is a ctive for the voice,
determ ined by  the Com m on Arp/ SEQ  setting in
the V O ICE ARPEGGIO / SEQ  m enu.

Using The Arpe ggia tor

The Arpeggia tor lets y ou pla y  a rpeggia ted chord
pa tterns a t the sim ple press of a  k ey. There a re
3 0  a rpeggio pa ttern Ty pes to choose from .
Betw een the 1 0  Arpeggio Subdivide (tim ing
resolution) settings, Pla y  Effect Velocity
pa ra m eter a nd num ber of notes pla y ed, y ou
ha ve a  w ide ra nge of control a nd custom iza tion
over length, rhy thm  a nd feel of a  voice’s
a rpeggio.

Yo u can co ntro l which Scene plays the arpeg g iated

patterns, turn the Arpeg g io Ho ld functio n o n and o ff at

will, and even desig nate an independent MIDI channel o n

which to o utput the Arpeg g iato r pattern data.

The specific Arpeg g iato r-related parameters are available

in the VO ICE ARPEG G IO / SEQ menu, but a few o thers will

also have a bearing o n yo ur arpeg g iated perfo rmances,

including Tempo and Po ly mo de setting s, and depending

o n Layer mo de, the Split Po int assig nment as well.

parameter (VO ICE ARPEG G IO / SEQ menu) is set to

“ Arpeg g io ” .

Yo u can turn the Arpeg g iato r o n and o ff by pressing the

[ARPEG G IO / SEQ ] switch. W hen the Arpeg g iato r is turned

o n, “ ARP” will appear in the lo wer rig ht area o f the LCD.
