W ith key tracking yo u can mello w o ut the Sync Pitch in
the upper rang e and bring o ut the g rit in the lo wer
rang e.
In the VO ICE SCEN E SETUP menu, perfo rm the
fo llo wing o peratio ns:
• Press Set N o [UP/ DO W N ] to display “ Set 3 ” in the
LCD.
• Press Param [UP/ DO W N ] to display “ Sync Pitch” in
the LCD.
• Press So urce [UP/ DO W N ] to display “ KyTrk” (Key
Track) in the LCD.
• Press Depth [UP/ DO W N ] to set a value o f “ Dp-1 8 ” .
Finally, let' s adjust the PEG to add a harder attack to
the electro nic piano so und. Press KN O B PARAMETER
G RO UP switch [PEG / LFO ].
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 1 and set the PEG Decay
parameter to abo ut “ +3 ” .
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 2 and set the PEG Depth
parameter to abo ut “ 1 0 ” .

First let’s crea te the funda m enta l sound…
1 . Select a voice tha t y ou don't m ind w riting
over.
Perfo rm a Type 1 (N o rmal) Vo ice Initializ e o peratio n.
2 . Select the pulse w a ve for a ba sic orga n
sound.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [VCO 1 ]. Turn
CO N TRO L kno b 1 to set the W ave parameter to
" pulse" . Turn CO N TRO L kno b 4 to set the Edg e
parameter to a value o f abo ut “ 3 0 ” . This smo o ths o ut
the ro ug h edg e o f the so und.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [SYN C/ FM].
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 1 to set the Alg o rithm
parameter to “ Sync+FMbth” , which enables the sync
and applies FM to bo th master and slave o scillato rs
o f VCO 1 .
Other settings ( except for “ only FM” ) will also produce effective results.
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 2 to set the Sync Pitch
parameter to a value o f abo ut “ +1 7 ” .
3 . Set up the V CO 2 a n octa ve dow n to a dd
fullness to the orga n sound.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [VCO 2 ].
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 4 to set the Edg e parameter to
a value o f abo ut “ 4 0 ” .
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 2 to lo wer the Pitch parameter
to a value o f “ -1 2 ” , which is a full o ctave do wn.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [MIX/ VCF].
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 2 to set the VCO 2 Level to a
value o f “ 1 2 7 ” so that the VCO 2 can be heard.
• Turn CO N TRO L kno b 1 to decrease the VCO 1 Level
to a value o f abo ut “ 7 0 ” .
4 . Add a rota ry spea k er effect to the orga n
sound.
Set the [EDIT RO TARY] switch to the VO ICE CO MMO N
menu.
• Press Vari EF/ EQ Param [UP/ DO W N ] to display
“ VarEF” in the LCD.
• Press Data [UP/ DO W N ] to select the “ Ro tarySp”
effect.
• Press Vari EF Dry:W et [UP/ DO W N ] to increase the
effect level to a value o f abo ut “ D<W 1 0 ” .
