14.2.  Installing Software 

The FlowTracker2 Desktop Software installation file is included with the USB thumb drive 
that ships with your FlowTracker2 Handheld ADV.  It is also available from the SonTek 
website (

http://www.sontek.com

).  Run the 

Windows Installer Package (.msi)

 file 

corresponding to the type of computer on which you wish to install the software (

32-bit

 or 

64-bit

).  Accept the terms in the License Agreement (shown in 

Figure 14:2

) and click 

Install.

During the process, you will be prompted to install a driver with the message shown in 

Figure 14:3

.  

This driver must be installed in order to communicate with the 

FlowTracker2 Handheld ADV.
