User Guide 

Replacing the Transfer Belt Cleaner 

A message appears on the control panel when the transfer belt cleaner must be replaced. 

 

 

CAUTION: 

Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing. 

 

1.

 

Open the front cover of the printer. 

 

2.

 

Turn the orange lever to the right to unlock the belt cleaner. 

 

3.

 

Turn the orange knob counterclockwise until it releases. 

 

4.

 

Pull the transfer belt cleaner straight out of the printer. 

 

 

WARNING: 

Do not touch any toner adhering to the transfer belt cleaner. Do not tilt the transfer belt 

cleaner or toner could spill.
