Service Parts Disassembly

Lift and slide the Transfer Belt Unit out of the metal slots to remove.

Note

When replacing the Transfer Belt Unit, use care not to touch the
surface of the belt. A scratchy or dirty belt could result in image
problems.

To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.

Note

After the transfer belt unit has been replaced with a new one, reset
the maintenance counter of the Transfer Belt Unit (page 6-44).
