Tighten the knurled screws at the top and bottom of the
side cover.

Reconnect the printer’s power cord and power on the
printer.

Check the Control Panel display. When the printer has
completed its power on diagnostics, the display should
show
Ready
. If an error message is displayed, refer to Table
5.1 on page 5-5 for instructions.

If you have no other options to install, print a
Configuration Sheet (see page 1-103) and check it to
confirm that the option(s) have been properly installed.
