Replacing the Bias
Transfer Roller
The bias transfer roller is used for transferring toner onto
paper. Replacement is recommended at intervals of
200,000 sheets.
To replace the bias transfer roller with a new one, follow
the steps listed below.
To avoid electric shock, be sure to power off and
unplug the printer before beginning this procedure.

Power off the printer and disconnect the power cord.

Open the front cover.
