Envelope Feeder

Chapter 6: Installing Printer Options

Removing

Push the envelope feeder all the way into the printer until 
it stops. Make sure it is seated securely.

Reconnect the printer’s power cord and power on the 
printer.

Check the Control Panel display. Wait until 

Ready

 is 

displayed. If an error message appears, refer to Table 5.1 
on page 5-4 for instructions.

If you have no other options to install, print a 
Configuration Sheet (see page 1-103) and check it to 
confirm that the option(s) have been properly installed.

Power off the printer and disconnect the power cord from 
the power outlet and the printer.

Lift slightly on the envelope feeder and pull it out from 
the printer.

Reconnect the printer’s power cord and power on the 
printer.

4

Check the Control Panel display. Wait until 

Ready

 is 

displayed. If an error message appears, refer to Table 5.1 
on page 5-4 for instructions.
