Change Tools Access Number
Access numbers (sometimes called passwords)
are used to ensure that unauthorized individuals
do not have access to System Administration
Tools. For maximum security, set your Access
Number to a number other than the default
(11111), and change it periodically (for example,
quarterly).
KEY POINT: In choosing a new access number,
avoid known values such as birthdates or phone
numbers, simple combinations, or five repeated
numbers.
KEY POINT: If you forget your access number, a
Service Technician will be required to reset it to
the default setting.
1
On the Tools screen, touch the Change Tools
Access Number button to display the Change
