WELD INTERRUPTION:
(FAULT) (ALERT)
This fault is generated under three conditions:
•
If the control moves into No Weld Mode while sequencing.
•
If the control powers down while sequencing.
•
If the SLC processor and the WTC weld processor lose
communication while the control is executing a schedule.
I/O UPDATE:
(FAULT)
This fault may occur in one of these conditions:
•
The SLC processor entered Program Mode while the
control was executing a weld sequence.
•
The WTC weld processor and the SLC processor lose
communications for more than the time specified in the
I/O Update Timeout (mSEC): nnn setup parameter. The
fault may be set at any time, including when the control is
initiating a schedule. If this occurs, the schedule is
aborted.
When the control is idled and not initiated, the timeout
interval is fixed at 10 sec.
•
The SLC processor stopped scanning.
•
When the weld processor and PLC processor cannot
communicate over the rack backplane. If this timeout
occurs, major system bus faults are suspect.
•
If the SLC processor moves out of Run Mode while the
control is executing a schedule.
RIO COMM ERROR/NOT IN RUN MODE: (FAULT)
This fault occurs
•
If the host PLC connected to the RIO link moves out of
Run Mode, or
•
The link encounters a fatal communication error while
the control is executing a schedule.
In either case, this fault is flagged regardless of the state of
the I/O VALID input.
WELD PROCEED:
(FAULT) (ALERT)
This fault is generated if the WELD PROCEED input does not
become active within the number of cycles specified in the
function WAIT nnn CY. FOR WELD PROCEED.
