1.4 General Information
These operating instructions provide detailed information regarding
specifications, installation procedures and important function settings of the
product. The operating instructions and the related documents exist only in
electronic form.
The manufacturer constantly improves its products according to the latest state
of the scientific and technical knowledge and therefore it assumes, that its
products are free from defects in the sense of product liability. However, it
cannot be excluded that during operation in critical application areas additional
safety measures can be necessary.
The manufacturer requests the user of its products, in their own interest, to
inform their contractors and the manufacturer about the application of its
products to initiate possible additional safety measures.
The utilization and the service life of the product, as well as the avoidance of
premature repairs depend on the proper commissioning, operation, care and
maintenance. For the professional maintenance, always follow the instructions
contained in these operating instructions.
The manufacturer guarantees the product against defects in workmanship and
material for a period, which is listed in the order confirmation, from the date of
shipment or date of invoice, whichever is later. The product must be used and
installed for its intended purpose, or this warranty is void. Any misuse, alteration
or modification of the product will also void this warranty. THE
MANUFACTURE
R’S OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. The liability is
limited to the price of the defective product. No other warranty or remedy shall
be provided. This warranty specifically does not guarantee or cover payment or
reimbursement of any damages or consequential damages beyond the above.
Any claim under this warranty must be made in writing within the period, which
is listed in the order confirmtion, of the date of shipment or the date of invoice,
whichever is later. If it is determined that the product is defective in material or
workmanship, the manufacturer will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the
product at no charge, excluding shipping and handling cost. Time and travel
expenses are not included.
All other return of product shall be at the customer’s
sole expense.
THE MANUFACTURER AND ITS AUTHORIZED AGENTS, EMPLOYEES AND
REPRESENTATIVES SPECIFICALLY AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR ANY WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY WHICH MIGHT OTHERWISE BE APPLICABLE UNDER
ANY STATE OR FEDERAL LAW. IN NO CASE SHALL THE COMPANY BE
LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR
BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY.
