2 Safety
2.1 Intended Use
This product is intended for use exclusively with batteries.
ANY USAGE BESIDES THOSE LISTED HEREIN, SHALL BE CONSTRUED
AS A MISUSE AS SET FORTH UNDER SECTION 1.4.
The product is constructed for outdoor use and fulfils the degree of protection
NEMA 3R.
Whenever working on the product, the ESD protection measures must be
observed.
For all work with or on the product appropriate tools must be used.
Only operate the product with the maximum permissible connection values in
Section Electrical Data.
The operating conditions given in the Technical Data must be fulfilled at all
times.
Only individuals meeting the target audience requirements set forth herein shall
work with or on the product. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any
damages resulting from other individuals conducting work on the product.
Unauthorized persons are not allowed to operate the product and must keep a
safe distance from the product.
Never operate the product with open doors.
Never operate the product with any technical defects.
Never operate the product if it has been damaged in any way.
Never open the doors within the discharge time.
Do not expose the product to rain, snow, or spray, when its doors are open. To
reduce risk of fire hazard, do not cover or obstruct any ventilation openings.
Always ensure that existing wiring is in good condition and that wire is not
undersized. Never operate the product with damaged or substandard wiring.
Do not disassamble the product.
The type plate, product safety signs and labels must remain permanently
attached to the product.
Use only the spare parts that are listed in this document. The use of other spare
parts shall be construed as an alteration.
Without approval of the grid operator do not switch off or adjust settings which
have influence on the grid management service.
It is prohibited to open the product, when it is raining, or the humidity is greater
than 95%.
Improper use of the product may pose a substantial danger to all individuals
involved.
