Danger to life due to high voltage!
•
Never install or remove fuses while under electric
charge.
If the fuses are installed or removed while under electric
charge, electric arcs can be generated which can result in
an electric shock.
Danger to life from electric shock due to damaged
product!
•
Operate the product only when it is in good order
and condition and secure to operate.
•
All work on the product must be performed in
accordance with 29 CFR, Chapter XVII, Part 1910
(OSHA), NEC and NFPA 70E.
Do not operate the product when damaged or reasonably
believed to be damaged. Operating of damaged product
may result in death or serious injury due to electric shock.
Five Safety Rules!
For all tasks in the vicinity of electrical systems, the
following rules shall apply for protection against electrical
accidents:
1. Disconnect safely.
2. Safeguard against reconnection.
3. Ensure a de-energized state.
4. Ground and short circuit.
5. Cover or shield adjacent live components.
Always comply with the sequence of the aforementioned protective measures.
After completion of work, operate in reverse order.
Danger to life due to electric shock if the product is
not closed and secured!
•
Always close and secure the doors of the product.
•
Ensure that only authorized persons have access to
the closed electrical operating area.
In case of operation with open doors, unauthorized
persons will have access to live parts carrying lethal
voltage. Serious injury or death can result if live parts are
touched.
