STORAGE
Before storing the unit for a long period:
1. Be sure the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust.
2. Drain the gasoline (
Storage Procedure):
a. Unscrew the fuel tank cap, remove the debris screen, and
empty t h e f u e l t a n k i n t o a n a p p r o v e d p e t r o l c o n t a i n e r u s i n g
a commercially available hand siphon. Reinstall the debris screen
and the fuel tank cap.
b. Loosen the cover screw and remove the left side maintenance
cover.
c. Loosen the carburetor drain screw.
d. Drain the gasoline from the carburetor into a suitable container.
e. Remove the spark plug maintenance cover.
f. Remove the spark plug cap.
g. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
h. Pull the starter grip 3 to 4 times to drain the petrol from the fuel
pump into a suitable container.
i. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
j. Tighten the carburetor drain screw.
Petrol is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuel.

Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.

Handle fuel only outdoors.
z
Wipe up spills immediately.
