AIR CLEANER SERVICE
A dirty air cleaner will restrict air flow to the carburetor. To prevent
carburetor malfunction, service the air cleaner regularly. Service more
frequently when operating the generator in extremely dusty areas.
Using petrol or flammable solvent to clean the air filter can cause a
fire or explosion. Use only soapy water or nonflammable solvent.
Operating the engine without an air filter or with a damaged air
filter will allow dirt to enter the engine, causing rapid engine wear. This
type of damage is not covered by the
Distributor’s Limited Warranty.
