Always use the proper antenna type regarding to the module and mobile network, which is
harmonized to the frequency/band. In other way the router will not abble to access the network.
Note that for Narrow Band (NB-IoT) networks it could be needed to wait 5-15 minutes for the first
successfully network registration.
RS232
connection
If you have ordered the router with an RS232 / RS485 expander, a serial (RS232) transparent data
connection can be established on the device's DSUB9 connector for an external device - using the
appropriate cable. Serial connection and data transfer are performed according to the Ser2net
settings.
RS485 connection
You can connect meters and measuring systems to the router with an RS485 cable using the RS485
terminal connector, with the appropriate cable - if you have ordered the router with an RS232 /
RS485 expander. Data communication works in the Ser2net menu, by enabling and configuring the
Serial proxy, and according to the FTP settings (for FTP data transmission).
