Wilo SE 2019-10
All information on filling and venting contained in chapter "Filling/venting
the pump" in this document, and also in Chapter 8.1 of the pump series in-
stallation and operating instructions, must be observed!
Carry out a test run outside the explosive atmosphere during commissioning! Pay par-
ticular attention to the following points during this test run:
ƒ
Quiet, vibration-free running of the pump
ƒ
Current consumption of the motor. The values must be compared with the informa-
tion contained in the motor installation and operating instructions.
ƒ
Noise and temperature developments for the drive unit
ƒ
Leakage at the flange connections
ƒ
Leakage at the gasket
ƒ
Monitoring of the direction of rotation (note direction of rotation arrow on the fan
cover)
Rotation direction checks must never be carried out by briefly activating the un-
filled pump. Dry run hazard!

Explanations:
Hardware error tolerance (HFT):
-1:
Shows an effective ignition source during normal operation (ignition-capable during
normal operation).
0:
Shows that the device is safe during normal operation with monitoring and no ef-
fective ignition sources are to be expected.
One single error can result in device malfunction. This means that only one system is
required for avoiding ignition sources during normal operation.
1:
Shows that the device is safe with one single error.
Two independent errors can result in device malfunction.
"
-
": Means that no safety equipment is required.
SIL1 or SIL2:
States the safety requirement level for safety devices in accordance with
standards series IEC 61508.
PL c or PL d:
States the safety device performance level in accordance with standards
series ISO 13849.

Improper use
Operational reliability is not ensured except in conjunction with intended use as out-
lined in chapter "Intended use" in these supplementary installation and operating in-
structions. The information on operating conditions stated in chapter "Description of
the pump" must be observed.
Any exceedance of the authorised operating conditions, as well as any im-
permissible operating mode, can result in exceedance of the defined tem-
peratures (see chapters "Pump operating mode" and "Temperature lim-
its").
