12.3 19” Rackmount
A rack mount kit allows the customer to install a CPC7000 into a standard 19” instrument rack. It includes mounting tabs to the front
panel of the instrument to secure it in the rack mount as shown in Section 11.4.2.
WARNING!
Rack mounting the CPC7000 involves placing the instrument on to a platform and securing it in place with
provided mounting tabs. It is recommended to install the instrument with a sturdy base/platform that can
sustain up to 40 kg / 88.2 lbs of weight.
12.4 Fittings
The 9/16-18 UNF female adapters can be purchased as an option to the standard M16 x 1.5 female adapters.
12.5 Pressure Booster
To control pressure, the CPC7000 requires a pressure supply of 10% above the full scale of the instrument. The Model 77 Pressure
Booster System provides the ability to boost bottle pressure up to the supply pressure requirements of all possible CPC7000 range
configurations while maximizing gas bottle/cylinder usage.
The Model 77 is a single piston air driven gas booster mounted in a heavy duty roll bar frame. The unit includes an operator control
panel with gauges for supply pressure, output reference pressure and an output vent valve. The system requires shop air to drive
the booster and a minimum of 300 psi to 3000 psi maximum inlet pressure (clean dry air or Nitrogen).
