6. Operation
6.4.6 Step Settings Application
The Step Settings Application allows the user to enter the minimum and maximum pressure values of the device
under test (DUT) and the number of preset steps required across the span. From this information the Step Settings
App will automatically calculate setpoint values in pressure units and values as a percentage of the full span of the
DUT (Figure 6.4.6).
To enter the minimum and maximum range of the DUT select the DUT Maximum Range and DUT Minimum Range buttons
(Figure 6.4.6-A) and enter the values. These ranges should be within the maximum range of the primary transducer. CPC7000
automatically switch between Pressure units and Percent of DUT Range values by pressing the units button or the percent button
(Figure7.4.6 - B). The user can be directed to this application from the setpoint entry method in the Home App (Section 6.4.1.2).
The Overrange button allows an entry above 100% in order test for hysteresis on a dial gauge.
