4.3.3. Knife
blocks
The machine features two knife block sizes.
The small knife blocks are intended for drillings up to 110 mm.
The large knife blocks are intended for drillings larger than 110 mm and for main pipes with
large wall thickness.
4.4. Clamping tool right, for branch pipe
Clamp pipes with OD 250 mm into the clamping tool.
Screw reducer inserts into the clamping tool for pipes with OD 63 – OD 225 mm.
In order to insert the pipes detach the spindle nut and swivel it out (arrow).
You may now swivel out the upper clamping tool (arrow) and insert the branch pipe.
In order to clamp the pipe swivel in the spindle nut again and tighten it.
