4.12. Reduction inserts for T-clamping tools (optional)
Mount the lower reduction inserts by inserting the inserts flush into the lower clamping tool and fixing them
with the pan-head screws.
Insert the reduction inserts always into clamping tools OD 900 mm:

As soon as the lower reduction inserts are mounted, lift the upper reduction inserts onto the lower inserts
and put the upper clamping tool onto it afterwards fixing the pieces together.
4.13. How to clamp pipes in the T–tools
The workpieces must be clamped in the T-clamping tools with spindles, pressure discs and clamping nuts.

When the clamping tools have been tensioned, detach the hexagon sockets
nuts and swing the spindles out including hexagon sockets nuts and washers
downwards (arrow).

Screw the three ring bolts (acc. to the image) into the small upper parts; thus
they will be hanging almost horizontally.

Hinge the small upper parts to the three ring bolts using a lifting device and
lift the upper parts down.
