6.3.4. Aligning

Slightly open tables again <joystick 13> on: .

Take out bead-up pressure for the pipe dimension to be welded from the table (with or without additional
cylinder) and add the drag pressure.

Take out circular bead the heat-up resp. change-over time, cool-down time and bead height for the pipe
dimension to be welded from the table.

Move cleaned heating element between the pipes brought to target temperature with <joystick 5> on: ,
if necessary wait until target temperature has been reached.

Close the machine tables with the specified aligning pressure without abutting, <joystick 13> on: and
adjust bead pressure by <pressure controller 12>.
6.3.5. Heating

After reaching the prescribed revolving bead height release pressure by pressing <button17, >.

Now the heating time begins. Press stop watch and compare actual time with the target time taken out of
the table.

Switch on table limitation by <switch 16, > the switch illuminates.
6.3.6. Change over

After the heating time has elapsed, open the machine tables with <joystick 13> on: , the heating
element is detached from both pipe ends.

Then, as fast as possible, move the heating element out of machine with <joystick 5> on: .

Afterwards close machine tables by pressure without abutting, <joystick 13> on: .
The maximum time frame for this process is specified by the value for the change-over time taken from
the table.
6.3.7. Joining

After the welding pressure build-up press the stop watch and keep <joystick 13> on: for about 10
seconds in order that the hydro memory can fill up.

Important! Switch off table limitation by <switch 16, > the switch extinguishes.

During the cooling readjust pressure if necessary.

After the cooling time has elapsed, release pressure, press <button 17, >.
