8.6. How to check the hydraulic oil level / refilling
Check the oil level every week.
There is an inspection glass at the front of the hydraulic oil tank.
The oil level (A) must absolutely be over the lower red mark and
somewhere in the centre of the inspection glass.
If necessary refill some oil into the oil filler neck (B) of the oil tank.
Afterwards fix the cap again.
The volume of oil tank is about 175 liter.
Parts to be opened and pressure pipes must be depressurized before beginning repairs.
Even when the machine is switched off, pressure can still be in the hydraulic accumulator!
There is the danger of squirting hydraulic oil, especially for the eyes.
Damaged hydraulic hoses have to be replaced immediately!
Visual check of the hydraulic wires before each starting.
The hydraulic oil is inedible!
Every 5 years, the hydraulic hoses have to be replaced completely.
Only use hydraulic oil of the quality HLPD 32.
Characteristics: anticorrosive, non-ageing, additions reducing wastage, high loading
capacity, soil bearing and limited water binding.
The hydraulic oil must be disposed expertly.
8.7. Protect machine parts against corrosion
In case of air humidity of > 85 % and / or high temperatures you must treat the untreated steel parts of the
machine with anti-corrosive protecting agent (e.g. AVILUB NCI 9840).
8.8. Disposal
At the end of the life time, the machine has to be disposed of properly, non-polluting and in
accordance with the national laws of waste disposal.
