On the standard BEL 270 machine, the “Main Power” switch is on the Control Box. It must be turned “ON”
before any of the other controls will operate.
Glue “On/Off” and press ram “Up/Down” controls are located on the side of the main controls enclosure
facing the rear or out-feed end of the machine. These switches illuminate when the machine power is on and
the function the switch controls is active or ‘on’ for automatic operation
The “Start/Stop” switch control station is on the center of the arch for easy access from either side of the
machine.
To start the machine, press the green “Start” button on the switch control station. Use the red “Stop“ button to
stop the machine.
Use the lighted switches on the control enclosure to turn “On” or “Off” the glue application or to control the
compression press ram independently.
CAUTION - When the machine is connected to an air supply and first
turned on, both the
Snap Folders
and compression press will cycle
once. Be sure all personnel are clear of the machine when starting.
