The conveyor belts can be easily replaced with a minimum of down time. We recommended replacing both belts
at the same time.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the stainless steel safety covers.
2. Under each conveyor beam, loosen the belt tension and alignment locking bolt on the side of the bracket
facing the center of the machine.
3. Release the tension on the belt by loosening the upper and lower adjusting nuts until the belt can be removed
from the pulleys.
4. Fit the new belt.
5. Reset the belt tension using the upper and lower adjusting nuts. Alternate tensioning of the nuts to position the
belt so that it is running true and not trying to ride up or down on the pulley. The tension on the belt should be
just enough to keep the belt from slipping or so that approximately one inch of play is available when the belt
is pulled sideways by hand in the center of the belt.
5. When correct tension and tracking are achieved, retighten the lock bolts.
6. Replace the conveyor covers.
SAFETY: Conveyor covers must be replaced before restarting the machine.
