Recipes for Pasta
Herb Pasta
Ingredients:
200 g plain flour (type 00), if not available use all-purpose plain flour
100 g beaten eggs (approx. 2 medium sized eggs)
20 g washed and finely chopped herbs such as parsley
Use the basic recipe and add to the egg 20 g washed and finely chopped
herbs such as parsley.
Wholemeal Pasta: replace the flour with ordinary plain wholemeal flour
Pasta Verdi: Replace 30 ml beaten egg with 30 ml finely pureed spinach
Preparation:
See plain pasta (basic recipe)
Pasta without Eggs
Ingredients:
200 g flour (type 00)
A pinch of salt
25 ml virgin olive oil and approx. 100 ml water
For preparation see plain pasta (Basic recipe). Add the salt to the flour
and replace the egg with the oil and water.
Japanese Soba Buckwheat Noodles
– Ideal for people who require a gluten free diet –
Ingredients:
300 g buckwheat flour
150 g beaten egg
