Operating
1. According to the ingredients you
want to mix, insert the dough hook
(13), the whisk (14) or the flat beater
(15) into the agitator and fill the
mixing bowl (11) with the ingredients
to be mixed.
2. Low down the lifting arm until it engages in place and insert the power
cord into the wall socket.
The stand mixer is equipped with a rotary switch (6).
Position
O
= der Motor is switched off.
Position
1
to
8
= der Motor runs in the selected speed.
Position
P
= der Motor runs with full speed as long as the
rotary switch is kept in this position.
3. Always start with smaller setting such as 1 or 2 and then continue with
higher setting. This will prevent ingredient splash-
out and “flour puff” at
start-up.
4. After mixing the ingredients thoroughly, first switch off the unit before
removing the mixing accessory from the mixing bowl. For removing the
mixing accessory, press it slightly upwards until it slightly moves back.
Then turn the accessory clockwise and take off.
Hints:
When mixing frothing liquids, first start with small amounts. Only fill the
mixing bowl up to ¾ of the capacity.
The max. filling capacity for solid ingredients, such as flour is 1.5 kg
and the max. filling capacity for liquids is 1.5 litres.
The stand mixer will mix the ingredients faster and more thoroughly
than most other electric mixers. Therefore the mixing time in most
recipes must be adjusted to avoid overbeating and flocculating. The
stand mixer is designed to provide through mixing without frequent
scraping of the ingredients from the mixing bowl. If you need to scrap
the ingredients from the bowl, first switch off the stand mixer.
Never
scrape the ingredients from the mixing bowl while the stand mixer is in
operation. There is risk of injury!
