Assembling the Stand Mixer
– (Using the Meat Grinder)
For safety reasons always place the mixing bowl onto the base when
grinding meat. There is risk of injury by the rotating agitator!
Tie up long hair and do not wear loose clothing, scarves, neck ties, etc.
during work. These parts may become caught into the agitator shaft!
1. Remove the drive lock cap (8) from the
stand mixer by turning counter clockwise.
2. Insert the meat filling attachment (23) at a
slight angle into the driving opening. Lock
the meat filling attachment by turning it
counter clockwise. To remove the meat
filling attachment, first press the releasing
button (9) for the attachment and turn the
meat filling attachment clockwise. Now
you can remove it.
3. Insert the worm shaft (35) into the
horizontal part of the meat filling attach-
ment (the cutter housing). Now insert the
blade (34) on the tip of the worm shaft.
4. Insert the desired grinding disc (28),
according to the desired grinding
result, on the worm shaft. Screw the
lock ring (25) on the cutter housing. Do
not overtighten the lock ring!
5. Insert the tray (22) into the meat filling
attachment (23) and place a large bowl
under the cutter housing to collect the
minced meat.
Hints:
All grinding discs are lightly oiled in order to protect them from corrosion.
Clean the grinding discs with lukewarm soapy water before each use. Do
not wash the grinding discs in the dishwasher!
Cut the meat into small pieces, so the meat easily fits into the filling tube.
Remove bones, gristles, rind or sinews as much as possible. Never use
frozen meat!
